Dear Brother and Sister Peterson, 

Your son, Elder Ryker Jeremy Peterson, has been assigned to serve as a Trainer for a new missionary.  Being a missionary trainer is one of the most important assignments in the mission. The initial  experience a new missionary has will influence the course of his entire mission.  

The Lord has entrusted into the care of your son a new missionary who is to be trained properly in every  aspect of missionary service. This means observing all mission rules, following the missionary gospel  study program “Adjusting to Missionary Life”, becoming a “Preach My Gospel Missionary”, and being  taught the importance of organizing, planning, and setting goals. The spiritual development and Christ like progress his new companion makes under his guidance will create a lasting bond between them and  will build a strong foundation for success in this new missionary.  

I have confidence in Elder Peterson’s ability to effectively train this new missionary. Please encourage  him and exercise faith and prayers in his behalf to help him achieve his full potential as a leader and as a  missionary. May the Lord continue to bless you as you support your missionary in the service of the  Lord.
